While Johnny Welfare plays acid rock on a stolen guitar, his old lady has a better idea... That's right, she's got the munchies for a California Cheeseburger!

Holy gently caress. It's even better if you don't read the article and just try to work it out in your head.

I wanted it to be true too :(

To be fair there is an actual US House rep who believes using wind power is going to use up all the wind.

This reminds of when Safeway used to sell their store brand grape soda. It had a little thing on it that said "Kid Approved!"

When you tore open the package so you could fridge pack it, it would tear off the the G, resulting in RAPE SODA Kid Approved!

They changed that packaging after like two solid years and I always wondered if anyone at corporate noticed.

I imagine that boardroom meeting went something like this:

Bodies are usually only said to orbit eachother if the barycenter is above the surface of the larger body. The Moon does cause Earth to wobble a bit (which we mainly notice as ocean tides) but the barycenter is still within Earth's radius.

Pluto and Charon orbit each other though, and in fact the Sun and Jupiter does too.

I remember learning in my last year of grade school that planets actively tilt back and forth on an axis throughout the year rather than just having a static tilt all the time (meaning a planet like Venus completely flips over on every revolution). The teacher even visually demonstrated this with a globe that she spun and tilted while walking around the room. Then in first year middle school science we had an astronomy unit test where that information came up, and a bunch of students got it wrong and we all had to protest because our own school system had taught us the wrong information a year before.

They really found the perfect facial expression for a guy who shoves a ton of cheese puffs up his rear end.

It's like that cut scene from Terminator 2 when he learns how to smile.

Wikipedia content isn't about who's the most right, it's about who has the most time.

People who aren't up for arguing for months over increasingly thin details just tend to walk away exhausted and let the other have it.
