So it got taken down for a few hours and then went back up. Was this Ubi being dumb or just Steam making GBS threads itself? The latter kinda seems more likely.

Yeah it could easily look like that. Word is that it was specifically a UK problem and the removal on the other steam stores was a goof. I tend to trust it, if only because it would have singlehandedly been the quickest reaction time that Ubi has ever had about anything, ever.
