That it has nothing to do with nationality? It's international vested interests. Their race or nationality is irrelevant. I would agree that authoritarian would be both less loaded and more accurate. But the point is the 21st century evolving of international corporate powers that can affect policy from Boston to Beijing, the Mediterranean to Montana. They are nationless, as far as policy goes. Some rich enough buy media sources on multiple continents to keep the message straight.
