I mean they technically mention that its the first in a new questline so yeah you won't quite know everything going on but it isn't quite as end-gamey as that stuff. Also I think they also take the view that since WGS etc was released a couple years ago now (well, or since) a lot of the "lore" is common knowledge. When Guthix was revealed it was all over (slight exaggeration) the internet.

HARDASS BARBASS EXTRAVAGANZA TOMORROW, SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 22ND, TYOOL 2014 I'm gonna be trying to put together hardass barbass runs basically all day. Some normal runs will happen to get people attuned for hardass mode, but I'm primarily just going to be chewing through waves 1-6 over and over as fast as I can. There's money to be made and bxp in lovely skills to be had.

The only quest that really stands out, to me, as stupid is Missing, Presumed Death, because it doesn't even have skill requirements and is extremely heavily invested in the lore. Why the gently caress is my level 3 novice adventurer being specially invited to a meeting of the gods, who are all these assholes who supposedly know me, why am I special, who is this smug rear end in a top hat and why do I care? Really a mess of a quest without heavy plot involvement. The world wakes also has light requirements but at least it's a grandmaster quest with real skill requirements so you've at least been playing the game for a while. Though this new quest will probably be fine since it's starting a chain. I imagine coming in with more lore knowledge will help but it won't be as stupid as a novice quest that assumes you know what happened in several grandmaster quests that you might not actually do for years.

Definitely more comparable to dg Take DG then make a single floor take like 30-45 minutes if you're moving at a good clip and you've got something like BA. I played this for a while some time ago and picked up a card today on a whim. Do OSRS accounts transfer to the new game? Is this playable on a tablet device? I'm going to log on later to see how much things have changed, hopeful someone is around that can add me to the clan.
