Oh god. This game. I have played through it several times, and I still barely understand what the gently caress happened.

Yggdra mode also happens once you beat both routes once.

Gungnir was such a rage inducing game. Barely anything actually happened.

Seriously, what the gently caress did the cardinal expect from summoning a demon lord?

The Cardinal is friggen crafty. In the last video I talked a little about the Prince slowly deducing "maybe Capehorn had something to do with my father's death." We know that Capehorn was pretending to support the Prince in inheriting rule of the land, and in fact the night before this flashback was the night Gunther got tricked into putting on the cursed armor. Meantime we've seen other flashbacks where knights have mentioned "anyone close to the king has disappeared" but it seems as though it was too late before anyone noticed. I don't like Capehorn and I'll probably call him a lot of names in the next video, but I have to give him credit: he's smart.
He broke the cardinal law of summoning: Do not call up what you cannot put down. That does not strike me as smart.
