I don't think he has the right ears for the Punisher. Hopefully he'll wear a mask or a balaclava to play him.

Shane was one of the best things about the first couple of seasons, and he was often right I thought in all the "debates" they were having about what kind of world it is and what they needed to do to survive yet he kept getting shouted down and eventually killed, and now they're not only embracing his worldview but forcing it on another community that took them in and gave them shelter. I mean, they're not wrong to be doing so, it's just ironic, and kind of sucks for Shane.

Fear the.. shirtless dude running? It was made even more hilarious by the DUNNNNNN.... DUNNNNNNNNNN... Inception horn wailing in the background. Youtube even had a comment that fit very well: "Not pictured: the husband who got off work early." What the drat thing felt like. Two things: One: Netflix's Daredevil is actually a good show with some awesome scenes, including some fights that look like they came out of the original Old Boy. Two: The actor who played Shane just got picked up as The Punisher in the next season. ... just saying, I think that's about the perfect character/actor pick, and it'll be good to see him on another show again. The only thing I've seen of his since Walking Dead was Fury. moist turtleneck posted:I don't think he has the right ears for the Punisher. I've no idea who the punisher is so I can't speak to how appropriate he is for the part but daredevil was awesome and I think his style of acting, from what I've seen in TWD, would be a good fit for that show. Maybe call him the punishear instead Buddington posted:They put out the first clip from Fear the Walking Dead today. Check out this dude running. Shane was right about not keeping a barn full of zombies and the group as they are now would probably be more in line with maybe killing the hostage kid back in season two, but Shane was too far gone. The group is more willing to accept tough decisions now, but if any of the main cast tried to do something comparable to killing Otis just to get away (like when that dude killed young Chris rock) or raping Lori or luring Rick into the woods to murder him, they'd still be against it. He was a bad dude, but served to plant some of the seeds for the actual hard decisions they ended up making later.

In all seriousness, I'm guessing that's what they mean with the title? As in, since it's day 0, we get to focus on people fearing the unknown situation. Whereas TWD starts at day 30+ and everyone even in the pilot is at least familiar with them at that point. By S3/S4, walkers are basically background noise for the most part. Hopefully the spinoff will up the suspense factor on the walkers and introduce more of the overall sense of dread you see in traditional zombie films. Or it'll be trash

I am really curious to see how zomebies take over the world. Unless something happens in which a lot of people get turned at the same time, and regular folks are just confused, don't belief reports and that kind of poo poo, I just can't imagine how the hell the zombies made it this far.

Someone actually did a serious epidemioligical study that modeled a zombie outbreak and showed that if there ever was a virus that made people actively seek out and infect others, if the outbreak wasn't squashed almost immediately, then the results would be catastrophic.

I put little faith in a study about a hypothetical virus that creates zombies. But for the sake of argument, I think it would depend a lot on the types of zombies. If we're talking 28 Days later zombies, we're hosed. If we're talking Walking Dead zombies.. i'm not so sure.

Not to be a sperg but 28 days later dudes weren't zombies. Just hosed up rage people. All you have to do to survive that is hide until they all starve to death, which considering they don't think to eat or even drink, wouldn't take long.
