When I LP games that work that way, I manually increase the volume of the cutscenes to be audible in post-processing. I doubt anyone will complain. I think the issue is that cutscene audio is considered "music" even though it tends to have speech, and is controlled by the music volume control in most games.

Two shorter videos means I can watch it during two shorter blocks of time instead of having to wait until I have an entire evening free.
