If the car sounds decent and your car guy gives it a thumbs up then you buy the stupid thing and hope like hell that it runs for a year to give you time to save up for your next shitmobile. Before all that you should talk to your coworkers and see if you can carpool with any of them. You should plan on buying them full tanks of gas, bringing donuts or other tasty breakfast treats and generally be a very grateful and courteous carpooler.
