Are the trophy descriptions the same in the Japanese and English versions? Surely they cant all be exactly the same... right

I'm pretty awful, so bare with me if this is obvious, but if I'm below a stage trying to recover and an enemy Charizard is breathing fire over the edge... is there anything I can do to keep from getting knocked off?
