Laserpig posted:I don't know what it is about this, but it disturbs the poo poo out of me, I've been aware of it for a few years and have never watched it all to the end, it's just an extremely unpleasant experience. People who create stuff like this piss me off, play games or sport, build model planes or cars or collect stamps... why sit around creating disturbing poo poo like this? It's just so loving weird. Am I broken for bursting out laughing three times during this?

Nuebot posted:I once stepped on a thumb tack and didn't notice until I got home and wondered why my foot was clinking every time I walked through the kitchen. I always notice when I step on a lego. Now, if we're getting into stupid things to hurt your feet on; my bed has this huge metal over hang on each of the four corners and I've sliced my foot open on it multiple times. You'd think they'd have like, not included sharp metal bits down near something you're going to be sleepily walking near. Pro tip: get some self-sealing pipe insulation and coat the metal bits with it. It's like adding subtle black foam bumpers to the sharp pieces and if you put a dust ruffle over it too, it's not even visible.

That's some fantastic modern ghost storytelling though, you gotta admit! Genuinely creepy. I wonder if he'll pull a Ted the Caver and just not post anything else from here on out.

Hah, true enough. Unless he suddenly quit his job I wonder how he got his cats to perform so well. I'm guessing fishing line for the "spook" jump, just like for the rocking of the chair, but the cat on the couch swatting at stuff is pretty impressive if he trained it to do that. He even rented a hearse! Dude is dedicated to the narrative.

Having to suspend disbelief about power and the internet still working after mass chaos breaks out but hey, it's the medium it's on.

Gann Jerrod posted:Master of claymation horror Lee Hardcastle just started a new horror anthology called Spook Train. Oh my god yes. I love his work, and this was AMAZINGLY well done. Actually genuinely startled and disturbed me in a few spots. And like all of his claymation, it's hard not to burst out laughing sometimes. "...the gently caress did I just watch?" from the intro absolutely slays me. The people selling this poo poo should be held criminally liable for the damage it does to people, jesus christ.
