Kobayashi is still plenty young, has his sponsors and is pretty decent not to mention his time at Sauber that made his reputation. I'm sure he'll pop up on the grid again if not next season then the season after.

Alright, so Ferrari's new team boss was... Vice President of Phillip Morris and brand ambassador of Marlboro since 2007. The rep for F1 sponsors on the F1 comission. And a board member of Juventus.

Something very big has clearly happened in the last week to bring this about with Italian sources scratching their heads as to the cause. Possible suggestions are that Mattiacci had been in discussions with other car manufacturers, but there is nothing firm given as a reason at this point. lol http://www.jamesallenonf1.com/2014/11/mattiaci-leaves-ferrari-as-arrivabene-arrives-to-spearhead-revival/

Apparently Kobayashi is going to test a Super Formula (aka The Series Formerly Known As Formula Nippon) for Toyota. Man, this guy walked away from Ferrari's factory GT program to join with Caterham and now he's going to a series where the reigning champion is Kazuki loving Nakajima.

It's not just a step backwards it's more like 10 steps backward. I mean, alright, I get it. Japanese hero racing in a Japanese series based in Japan for a manufacturer that backed him heavily when he was coming up. But he's also in his prime years as a driver so it just seems like a waste.
