Black Mirror is now on US Netflix, no spoofing required. And it's so loving good. I think it's best to go into it knowing as little about it as possible, for maximum headfuck.

If you like documentaries about cinematic trainwrecks, along the lines of "Jodorowsky's Dune" and "Lost in La Mancha", don't miss Lost Soul: The Doomed Journey of Richard Stanley's Island of Dr. Moreau. It's a delightful depiction of a legendary clusterfuck.

Yeah, Jane Campion is reliable. I liked it, the performances were great and the setting was fascinating, but it went a little bit over-the-top at the end.

I have a theory that the Holly Hunter character is actually Rust Cohle's missing mom.
