the south island is like a nice roast meal. lots of variety, down to earth flavours. nothing too fancy the north island is like a well cooked filet mignon, served on some undercooked mashed potatoes, and as you bite into the mashed potato you see a streak of brown running through it and your worset fears have come true

i mix and match metric and imperial depending on scale like i will drop down from inches to cm/mm when its like under 5 inches or so? temperature though is in Fahrenheit because i dont want to have to use decimal points to get a good feel of what the temp is. "it's 72" or "its 55" or "its 28" is fine. centigrade always has to use decimal points to give precision because the range of human temps is so small within it.
