You look at all my bans and they're over a 4 year period(although there were more before 9/04 but back then the bans were manually posted in threads in the Lepers Colony Forum.) But anyway, lets just say it worked out to $50/year. That's a pretty minimal investment for something that offers you multiple hours a day of entertainment. My cable television probably runs me $100/month. That's $1200 a year for probably less hours utilized than the forums which at my peak trolldom was $50-75ish/year.
