Looks like the new episode has a link to a sources page, which seems reasonable! Saving it for a drive so haven't heard how the elephant in the room gets addressed.

He picked a fight with Anthony Cumia and his awful twitter community.

Cumia tweeted some 2nd amendment meme thing overnight, Dave tweeted something to the effect of of was there an amendment for hitting your partner. Anthony threatened to talk about Dave on his show, Dave said he would do a Dollop about Cumia. Tried to fave the last tweet but think Dave had turned off his account by then.

I think his fans are very aggressive on the dox / harass offensive, based on how other former friends and comedians who spoke poorly of Cumia's meltdown described it.

I don't know why, but of all the podcasts I recommend out, this one catches on with friendly randos the most. One of my favourites, and The Rube is one of the best podcast episodes I've ever heard.

Nobody ever takes my podcast recommendations until I started recommending the Dollop to road warriors and commuters at work. Always start them on The Rube, and I must have won over 15-20 people already.

Anyone have a mirror for the early few episodes Dave took down? I listened to them as a WTR fan but obviously didn't save them.

I expected that but bought it just because Fosdike owns and it's a way for me to channel money back into one of my favorite entertainment sources of the past couple of years. Still, agree 100% with what you're saying about the actual content.

This thread recommended Last Podcast On the Left as a deeply dark version of the The Dollop many many pages back, and I finally took the recommendation - fun trip, but probably not for everyone. Any other favourite Dollopalikes? Learning combined with funny is most of what I'm looking for. The Dollop remains first in my heart.

I always expect them to be at Just For Laughs Montreal or Toronto since Dave has been in the past and they have a lot of podcasts, but not yet. I have seen and talked to Wil Anderson around town (including a very bizarre show this past year where someone brought a two year old and sat in the front and Wil nearly lost it). Come to think of it, I haven’t seen Gareth ever at a JFL unless that Vancouver Dollop with Stop Podcasting Yourself was part of JFLNW.

It might not be for everyone given that it's live and James Adomian may interject a lot, but I think the 1906 Car Race Dollop is an all-timer. Half The Dollop, half radio play.
