There are a ton of tracked Corvettes in the Phoenix area. I have a friend that used to do HPDE's in his C5 Z06. I remember him saying that he'd get cooked in the cabin when he put longtube headers on it, exhaust wrap helped with that. He also had issues with his transaxle fluid overheating and it getting hard to shift by the end of the session. I'll have to ask him if he installed a cooler for it, since I know he had tried different oil weights. Otherwise it's been a solid track car.
