Anybody from Uruguay here? It seems to be getting pretty good rep, is it justified or just good PR?

Some Latin American countries have passed pretty progressive pro-LGBT legislation over past decade or so. Are there attempts to undermine and undo it the way it is happening in the US and parts of Europe? Is there a lot of homophobia on the ground even when discrimination is officially banned?
