It sounds like a lot of effort when you can just tell someone to hold their breath for a sec.

Her hair don't seem floaty enough though so idk.

I guess I'm the poo poo logo in the dead center, direct flash, white wall that mysteriously throws off the exposure and general lack of giving a gently caress about what you're pretending to do :arghsmilie:

e: at least she's an "amateur photographer" on her profile so I shouldn't care too much.

The flickr community is mostly garbage but the site works really well though. I think maybe tumblr has some quality content but lol tumblr.

Also the flickr app is pretty nice.

There are also really specific hour long videos about home appliances like "Whirlpool full cycle 800rpm rinse grey tiled floor no echo". I'm not sure if it's sexual though

The original video is gone but it reminds me of Hillixia
Sorry for the guy being funny in his room format, but it's really worth sitting through it for the sheer pedestrian insanity. Hillixia really is the best photographer's project.

Is that the photographer in the reflection in the window? Where did this idea come from that you have to be looking away from your camera and away from what you're shooting in order to make a great shot? lovely "amazing!!11!!!!1!" photos and making-of-lovely-amazing-photos series often seem to show this.

To attract less attention when shooting strangers I guess ?

Are the captions MySpacey?

If myspacey means pretentious and mostly meaningless then yes. The book is called planned obsolence and it questions the disapperance of the picture.

"Pixellated representations, virtual time, dehumanized relations, remote controlled desires, many imperatives for the photographer to capture the meaning of a nature on borrowed time"
(This is a lovely translation.)

The guy's got an impressive resume but blurry landscapes are pretty meh

From the KS thread.
Want an expensive way for your uninspired photos to look like goddamn rear end ?

Photographers turned to the endless pursuit of sharpness, resolution and speed. That trend still dominates today. However many photographers like yourself have started to realize that high resolution and high specs can not replace the authenticity of analogue photography that’s more personal, original, unfiltered with a timeless 'point of view'. Pinhole photography provides exactly that. After all it is the closest to what a human eye can see.
