Buy the flight deck boots they sell in the PX, when someone tries to call you out on it pull out a ruler and show them their boots are the same height as yours. Also, def don't shine your out of reg boots, it will just draw unwanted attention.

Been working 14 hour days this week and still have to do christmas shopping etc after work. I bought some knob creek thinking I was going to SA Secret Santa it, but it'd be too hard to mail so I thought I'd open up the bottle I and try some. Turns out 100 proof whiskey will knock you on your rear end after shift work; also when you haven't eaten anything in 24 hours. Who knew?

JAG reminded me they're on my command's side, not mine, and the IG reminded me they work for the hospital that screwed me, not for me. I can't even fix this for the next person thats in my shoes. Not even done with C-school and I was ready to board for my warfare. A pin I don't even know where my books are for now. Dude, your command treats you like total poo poo. Get out and go civilian or contractor, the poo poo you put up with isn't worth it.

NOICMD just does book 3. The test is on books 1 and 2, and then book 3 is memorizing a bunch of poo poo that you write down on a white board. Also just stood my last watch ever. As of January the people in holding will be manning all quarterdeck watches
