Wouldn't JSawyer alone make it easier to roll melee? DT being increased as much as it has seems like it'd make it easier to take shots at high endurance.

yeah good point

my thought process was.. more armor = less hp damage, so it wouldn't be as big of a deal

but now that I think about it, that wouldn't apply in most situations

i will play unarmed vanilla and do Nevada melee later because I think it's the one that adds a katana that explodes on each swing that's pretty funny + very effective at damaging both the enemy and you

i've put prob 200+ hours into new vegas and i've never gotten to the end of return to sender

also i've started fallout 1 like twelve times but only beaten it once, because the early parts in shady sands and the radscorpion cave are sooo boooring, not to mention the ten minutes spent fighting or running from rats just outside the vault

even though the temple of trials is worse it's over faster and klamath at least has enough going on to not be totally bland

what are some funny ways to sequence break new vegas? I wanted to kill caesar before even meeting benny and mr house, but it seems the boat guy at cottonwood doesnt appear until after you get the invitation. does vulpes react at all in nipton if i killed caesar? whats the best way to piss off caesar, does he react at all to the fact that i met joshua graham? does graham react to killing caesar?

You can tell Joshua that you killed Caesar, but that's all I know.

If you kill Caesar, you'll have already gotten your Legion pardon to get to him, so every Legion character will be hostile. It can get you a better resolution to Return to Sender, and a free whiskey at the Atomic Wrangler, but other than that the gameplay impact is fairly limited.

if you want to sequence break, you can head directly to new vegas as soon as you start, steal and pawn off the weapons in the silver rush until you hit the 2,000 credit check, run straight to benny, assassinate him, get the mark from vulpes, get some decent gear from vendotron, then greet caesar with the weapon of your choice. boom, you've entered new vegas, killed caesar, and didn't go anywhere in most of the western and southern halves of the map, all within about two or so hours of starting the game. it can be kinda right cutting through the cazador, gecko, and fiend party when first starting out, but youre safe when you start approaching camp mccarren

thats why i always go for good luck with my characters so i can clear out the casinos ASAP and get some bitchin' gear instead of scavenging and selling broken weapons for a few hours

if your agility is high enough, you can run through hidden valley and scorpion gulch. just sprint past the scorpions, head toward the rear of HELIOS, then follow the road north through 188 to vegas.

p.s. what happens if you enter the bunker without having met house? does he appear on the monitor in the bunker and introduce himself there?

agility does not affect your running speed

if you enter the bunker without meeting house he pops up on the computer at the start and says "yo whats up im house plz activate my robots bye"

The easiest way to sequence break New Vegas is to get 10 luck and get a bunch of money from the Atomic Wrangler, Ultra-Luxe, Tops, and Gomorrah (They even give you really good combat armor here too) and buying all the Gun Runners Arsenal weapons at level 2

yea, i already went the northern route, made it to vegas and cleared out the casinos. maybe sequence break was the wrong way to put it, i guess im really just wondering about the funniest ways to be an rear end in a top hat to the legion.

like, will the named legion npcs automatically attack me if caesar is dead? can i rub it in vulpes face when i meet him in nipton? or that guy thats being interrogated in mccarran. I basically want to gently caress the legion over as much as possible, kill benny, get the pardon, rub it in caesars face, kill him and gloat about it to as many people as possible

idk, is it even possible to kill caesar stealthily? i tried planting bombs on him before, but that would get me villified as soon as i exited the tent

you can gently caress up doing surgery and bluff your way out of it being your fault
