I used to find HDTGM hilarious, but since discovering this it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth whenever I try to go back. Something's missing, and I'm not even sure what.

Anyway, I find their review of Wild in the Streets hilarious. Something about the way they say "babies."

(Almost as much as when I finally saw the movie as a teenager!)

Yeah I like that on WHM they talk about the same amount (Jupin gets in a bit more but he's guiding the plot usually so it makes sense) and they have a good sense of timing and letting a joke breathe. Also I crack up every drat time someone on there has to wheel their chair away from the microphone due to laughing too hard, it's great camaraderie.

This is going to sound odd, but one of the reasons I stopped listening to The Flophouse was because I sensed a lot of tension between Elliott and Dan, and it made it an uncomfortable listen.

The one thing I know about Frank Weller is he got pissed about being kicked off The Simpsons (he was Santa's Little Helper) as if he was hard up for roles or something.

I forgot about that Elliott Smith joke until just now. Holy poo poo.

That's one of my faves.

Although, after their intro apologizing for any possible jokes about Craven, I was amazed the PSH joke went by untouched.

Chris remembering that future lawyers show brought back a rush of realization that yes, that happened.

It was called Century City. According to the wiki page, in 2030 the ability to screen out gayness at birth destroyed the arts.
