I hope the revisit episode is Maximum Overdrive, because the live episode was stunted, weird, and had no time to breathe. I don't think they even mentioned it was Giancarlo Esposito getting murdered by that pinball machine. Also because gently caress you, Maximum Overdrive rules and is a massive recommend.

Mega agreedo. Stunted and weird could apply to a lot of their episodes because they seem to have a strict one hour time allowance for them when a normal episode is closer to 2 hours now. Even the first couple hundred eps seem to have a 1.5 hour or less total time format. Maximum overdrive deserves better! It was my first so-bad-it's-good movie

I only remember two specific things about 90210 and they're hilarious: one is a very special episode about one of the male characters using steroids and another male character telling the user that steroids are bad because they shrink your balls. That's the whole reason. The second is Andrea gets hit by a street racing car and the hijinks that ensue to figure out who did it.

Good glad I'm not alone in not caring for the ring that much. Watched it in 2003 with my roommates on a literal dark and stormy night and it didn't scare me once. Always thought it was the near criminal amounts of NyQuil I was on at the time.

Were any of the live action movies of 1960s cartoons that came out in the 90s/00s even semi-good? The ones that come to mind (Scooby-Doo, George of the Jungle, Dudley Do-Right, Mr. Magoo, and Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle) are all atrocious.

The last scene of the last episode is loving fantastic and one of my favorite series finales of all time.

Speed finally confronts Racer X and calls him out on being his missing brother Rex. He goes hard on Rex for lying and Rex responds by punching Speed in the gut to knock him unconcious and then he runs into his car and hops in. Someone calls out to Rex wondering why the hell he did it and Rex basically ducks the question. He then drives away. That's it, that's the last scene in Speed Racer.

Absolutely amazing and now I need to see all of the speed racer cartoon.

Chelsea is great and she can totally sub in anytime cabin can't make it. I rewatched super man for the first time since probably the early 90s and man it still holds up. The scene where Lois Lane dies was still terrifying and it was great to hear them put all of that film making knowledge to work explaining why the movie works so well.

I'd say that won't work because January is their Worst of the previous year month, but...they're gonna have a hard time even coming up with a list of movies that came out in 2020 to pick from this January.

There was a ton of dreck that came out on Netflix but that's really just shooting fish in a barrel and doesn't really count. Them doing Pottersville is one of their best episodes, though.
