It was a really tame R, wasn't it? I recall hearing that it was shot so that it could be cut to a PG-13 as easily as possible if that's what WB decided on. I also recall rumors that an entire climactic action sequence involving the T-850 fighting the T-X endoskeleton was filmed and cut, but I have no idea if that's true or not.
