Some places are cool, if you go inside to pay cash for gas or get food or whatever and the cashier is cool enough they'll turn it on for free. Also sometimes the machine fucks up and doesn't take cards the cashier will usually turn it on for free

Speaking of legal commercials or commercials with some form of disclosure: how the gently caress is someone going to reasonably read a giant wall of text that is almost certainly extremely blurry and they don't stick on screen for more than a few seconds at best? I guess someone could pause it if they have the service but I've seen ones where it's nigh impossible to read even with it paused and your eyeballs as close to the screen as possible?

Dunno if anyone else feels the way I do with the fuckload of dumb emoji merchandise, I work at a Walmart and I've seen the following, all an emoji: piggy banks, beam bag chairs, plushies, cups, shirts, glasses, cereal bowls, birthday/other cards, jewelry, temporary tattoos There's so much of it and its seriously plastered on anything with pretty much zero creativity involved I really don't them, and Pepsi in particular makes me sad because instead of doing cool stuff with the designs (dr pepper has cool artwork on some) of the bottles or do something along the share a coke/song, but nope let's just plaster emojis all over our bottles because that's what all the kids love now!! Reminds me of some Boeing ads I saw on TV a few times, the only thing that I got out of them were montage of how great and cool Boeing is and all the great stuff they do over the years That was literally the entire ad, nothing for recruitment or jobs or anything, just how great Boeing is. It's not like people who are going that are going to buy a loving aircraft will be swayed to get a Boeing plane because of the ad, I seriously don't see the point of it at all

god I hate the poo poo that yahoo does when searching for literally any program, my 12 year old brother likes minecraft, happy wheels, roblox other popular youtube games and when searching for "miinecraft download" brings up some bullshit installer as the "first" link (it being something chopped with a gap on the top of the results), and of course him being 12 the first day he got his own laptop he ended up installing a bunch of garbage on it I don't live there and I can't verify every one of his downloads and it's frustrating and dumb that yahoo allows that garbage As for why he uses yahoo it was the default search engine and after setting it to google something sets it back to yahoo again
