I never heard so many of these as I did when I lived in Saskatchewan. They love lovely cell phone recording ads from local businesses. The best was that there were one or two with a new ad every month, so it had to be a conscious decision not to use something better.

They also loving loved high-pitched squeaky Alvin and the Chipmunk voices, and talking animals (more on TV than radio obv).

What a wasteland.
