There are still millions of assholes convinced that the 60's sexual revolution was by far the worst thing to ever happen to America, and are trying their damnedest to stop/reverse/ignore it, while screaming all the way about "immorality" and how the 50's were better (because women didn't have any authority and Civil Rights hadn't happened yet).

Relatedly, meet Alfred Kinsey, thought of as the father of the 60's sexual revolutions, who had the audacity to imply such things as:

"Women are sexual and actually enjoy sex? Homosexuality is a natural part of the human condition, and most humans fall on a scale of attraction between heterosexuality and homosexuality? Such audacity, next you'll be telling me those Negroes deserve equal rights!"

If you ask someone like Rick Santorum about Alfred Kinsey, you'll probably get back a response that Alfred Kinsey is literally Satan incarnate (if you don't get a wordless screaming rage instead).
