I have very very limited experience with MMA but it seems like you have to be a really, really good fighter to get into UFC. It seems like even their 1-0 guys are going to have extensive amateur backgrounds and if you don't you end up in Bellator. Is this accurate? Punk is my favorite wrestler off all time and I want to see him do well but boy howdy is he going to be turned into a fine pink mist.

I got into MMA because of Brock. Went to sports bars to watch his fights, had to deal with mouth-breathers wearing Affliction shirts who pissed all over the bathroom and had all the manners you would expect from inbreds. Brock stopped fighting, I stopped caring about MMA. I'm assuming Punk's run will be the same for myself and other wrestling fans.
