I mean OP may be sympathetic to the USSR but I have no reason to believe that he would be. I'm very interested in the early history of the USSR. I still find it mildly shocking that Lenin was able to resist the white army and establish a socialist regime....what was the key to his and the red army's success?

Do you know how marriages were conducted in the USSR for non-Christians? Were there civil ceremonies?
