It being on a 3D plane makes it so they can do more cool poo poo with the environment. Just in the trailer you can see Joesph using the ripple to walk on a surface, and crazy diamond repairing a statue.

Jstars Victory Vs + for PS4 is getting a US release, and that has Jonathan and Joseph in it. Maybe more if this version adds more fighters.
