This whole screen protector/finger print reader on the 6a really sucks huh. Just got mine last night and I'm already annoyed by that. I don't particularly want to not use a protector because I managed a fingernail scratch in my old Zenfone 3 but...maaan. On the plus side I guess the "anyone can unlock it" bug is a bit lessened that way.

Somewhat regularly, the lock screen "Now Playing" will identify Summertime Sadness by Lana Del Rey while I'm sitting at my computer. When no music is playing at all. The only sound is the ceiling fan and my computer fans. I never even heard the song until I looked it up when I was searching to see if anyone else had the issue.

Is my room tone just a perfect match for some portion of the song? Could it be picking it up from a neighbor's house, even if I can't hear it at all and it's never anything else? Is Lana Del Rey stealthily whisper singing behind me and hides whenever I turn around?

When I was in hospital with my 3a it'd recognize the IV alarm as "Nothing is Safe" by Clipping so I'm going to say, yes, Lana Del Rey is in your house and you need to evacuate now

Managed to get a weird effect when playing around with magic erase on my wife's P6. I was trying to see how it would handle erasing the open middle of the heart balloon and this is the result. I think it took the pattern from the dress but I'm not really sure, and I certainly didn't mark out a perfect rectangle.

Anyway, no real point to this post, just sharing something kinda interesting.

New Android Auto is very good but now it doesn't listen to me when I use voice commands. Like it'll hear "hey google" but then not register anything else and just go "Sorry try again" after I go silent, so that's uh..real annoying actually

this especially sucks because even if it's patched, anything you've already posted online can potentially still be unredacted

i think imgur is safe because they recompress uploads, but places like slack and discord keep the original image data as uploaded, with all the bonus data google left in

Apparently anything uploaded to Discord since January is fine because that's when they started recompressing stuff on the server end but older stuff..yeah
