Motherfuckin Rune. My friends and I had shitloads of fun playing this game back in high school. It's a melee game with a fantastic multiplayer component. Picture something like Dark Souls weapon mechanics with infinite stamina and Unreal Engine style instant-zero-to-full-speed-in-any-direction character movement. My best friend's dad at the time owned a computer store, which meant he had about 10 computers in my best friend's house, all on one network. So, we loaded Rune onto all those computers and I can't even remember how many nights we spent screaming taunts across the house as we chopped off each other's arms and heads with gigantic viking weapons. Plus, the game was set in the Unreal engine so naturally there were tons of custom maps available free for download, so we hardly ever played the same map twice.
