They need to give Mimi her hat back, she looks weird without it. To be fair as far as combat goes, Mimi still as a better track record than Izumi from Frontier at the very least (if only in the sense that Mimi is actually allowed to win on occasion).

It should be noted that this movie is not actually called Digimon Quattro (it's just "Digimon Adventure"). Considering some of the first art from the movie was of Tai and Yamato/Matt as adults I'm assuming it's still going to be a sequel though unless they changed their minds mid-production. Hopefully it'll be better than Tri but I still hope they actually do something new with the franchise one of these days.

The subtitle makes me think Last Evolution might be another series of films though (also I’m hoping the tagline is meant to be taken literally and we’ll finally be done with the Adventure cast after this). That said, another sequel taking place during the timeskip at the end of 02 could be interesting.

Odd title, so how exactly do you pronounce “:”? As for the show itself, I guess there's still a chance this could turn out decently and it's nice to finally get a new TV show after all these years but literally all Toei's done on the anime side of things since Appmon ended is revisit Adventure. Well I didn’t really see anything I recognized from the original (not counting the characters of course) and there was even a shot of Agumon fighting what appeared to be some new Digimon. So I guess this series is more of a reboot than a straight remake. Despite being yet more Adventure related content this could potentially be decent if handled right. We’ll see of course.

Really good animation as well and despite featuring a lot of the same characters it still feels enough like it’s own thing. So yeah, that was a pleasant surprise and I hope things continue to improve from here.

Just two episodes in and this is already better than anything Adventure related they’ve put out in years (maybe even including 02). I also like that this is basically a new show despite featuring familiar characters. Hopefully they’ll be able to keep this up but for now I am fully onboard with this.
