Happy new year AI. We've had a rough year in 2014, full of misfortunes, tears and frustrations. Put that all behind you, because this is a new beginning. Time to make things right, time to shine. Let's make 2015 the best year of our lives.

You Americans and your cheap booze. Up here in the Socialist Utopia of Alberta (lol) a six-pack of decent beer will set you back about $15 or so (the cheapest, bargain-basement skunkwater sells for about $32 for a 30-pack) and my favorite bourbons are typically $40-50 per bottle. Wine is cheap(ish), if you can stomach the cheap Chateau Migraine poo poo from BC you can get it for like $6 per bottle.

Plus my facial hair grows in such a way that I would have the gooniest loving neckbeard you could imagine. It would almost be as bad as Captain Gingerbeard up there.

Since everything was stored on the phone's internal memory, it's pretty much gone. Unless anyone else has a better idea as to how to recover this information, that is. Goddammit.

Heaven forbid that people's attitudes towards things, you know, change. I know you loving nerds have problems with change, but that's how the world works. Either you change with it or you will be left behind living in a delusion. Also investment properties are almost universally a terrible idea. Ask yourself this; what level of profit is acceptable for dealing with complete fucktard tenants?

I'm still waiting on a few tax documents, but I should be in line for a $3-4k return this year, based on the fact that last year was pretty similar to 2013 and that's what I got then. It's also going to be first year I won't be spending every penny of my return to make an additional payment on my student loans too

T-Square posted:Also, some of you nerds should check out Besiege on Steam, I bought it for $6 last night. It's a neat little physics game where you have to design and build your own siege-engines from scratch to kill mans and blow up houses and castles. There are some levels with different objectives other than killing mans, requiring siege engines with different purposes. It can be pretty difficult, and the camera sucks, but I've been playing it all morning. If you like that, you'll love Medieval Engineers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpS5XGjb3jg
