I’m gonna lol if it turns out Logan of the X-Men has nothing to do with this book, Predator is just fighting wolverine the animal.

Unfortunately the premise is that Logan has a decades-long rivalry with a Pred but maybe Jonathan will get involved at some point too.

I'm not sure either of these panels from Jean Grey #2 were supposed to be funny, but I laughed.

Howard the Duck 50th anniversary special was fun. The first two are by Zdarksky, the others are by Kibblesmith.

The non-standard panel arrangements made these difficult to crop.

Love to see Wild Dog get some panel time.

The Wild Dog story is by Kyle Starks and runs through the past few Brave and the Bold issues, and it's rather good. The whole book has been more hits than misses for me, which is nice for a compilation.

I don't know if covers count as panels but the new Nightwing cracked me up. (And yes, it is relevant to the plot).

While we're talking Star Trek comics the recent Defiant series by Chris Cantwell is pretty good. Art isn't great but he's writing the characters well and there's some good humour in there.

This is from last year's "Day of Blood" crossover with the main Star Trek series by Kelly and Lanzing who people seem to like around here. It's a bit on the nose but I chuckled.

This was everything I was hoping it would be and then some. It is a bit weird to have an anti-capitalist message in a Marvel comic, not to mention acknowledgement that corporations making fun of themselves is a way for them to distract from the harm they're doing, but I'll take what I can get.
