 This game is my tied with MR4 as my second favorite after MR2. There are a lot of interesting mechanics without being overly complicated, and there really is a huge selection of monsters, even old favorites like Gali, Monol, and Hengar. I never did get around to unlocking every single monster type in the game, though, partly due to how complicated some of the events to unlock them are. I'm glad you're playing this and will be following along, I'll probably restart on my own copy as well.
