I'm a big fan of the graphics mods that lower the framerate by 10-20 fps for a minor particle effect on distant trees or the one that adds so much depth of field that your character seems drunk. The best skyrim mod is still probably SPERG which makes the skill trees cool

Check out my ENB preset where everything is a blurry hyper saturated mess. Make sure to download the weird file a russian of dubious credibility forces you to get from his weird rear end website because he will throw a fit and stop developing if anyone shares it anywhere else c

I use the random start mod, which in addition to skipping the lovely intro, also usually plops you in the middle of some random dungeon in the wilderness and it's pretty fun trying to get your bearings.
