As rushed and lovely the ending of the anime was it was not as rushed and lovely as the manga's ending. The sequel got axed after a few dozen chapters too so the author just has lovely luck

Hey so I watched Bakemonogatari back when it was new and mostly liked it. I liked Shinbo's direction (i'm pretty sure it was the first Shaft show I saw), but mainly despite it being a harem thing I liked that by the end the Main Dude was with Senjougahara and even when Hanekawa was all "But I've liked you all this time! :cry:

I tried watching the next series that aired but got totally bored with it before it even got to the Tooth Brushing Scene or whatever, I tried to watch Nekomonogatari and spaced out after only a few minutes too.

So i guess i just don't like it right? That's fine, but every time I see a cool gif in my tumblr feed like these:

I think maybe I should give it another shot.

So...should I?

Since you know who Shinbo is you could always check his other shows out if there are still some you haven't seen. Dude is still doing his thing, even this season.

If you liked Bake you'll like a decent amount of the rest, you're already over the hump as it were. The one you got bored with isn't very good for a myriad of reasons so your reaction isn't that unexpected.

Graffiti Girl Cooking was charming and sweet, and also the least Shinbou of Shinbou shows. The "Ryou eating things" scenes are a little weirdly orgasmic, but it's bearable. This feels like it'll be the chill-out anime of the season.

You'll probably want to look at something like this site then. Generally speaking, you're not going to find anything that looks impressive. It'll come down to how the noodles/soup base tastes, since none of the provided vegetables are going to be worth a drat.

There's better tasting stuff I can't remember the name of, but the Nongshim bowls are alright for what you can make with just a microwave.
