i cooked steaks with a spicy rub, pan-seared them with a little bit of butter, and had some standard veggies on the side since we were lacking in potatoes after the stewfest earlier this week. it was good. tonight idk prolly a beer im going to die

yesterday i had sea-bass on a bed of rice, with vegetables on the side, and some edamame as an appetizer. raspberry martini for a drink. tonight? cheese, salami, crackers, and some jack-coke. btw the new coke, Coke Life (i think its called), is very good. supposed to be like the old sugar cane coke, dunno about ingredients but it tastes like it. would recommend.

drat that was some turd looking chicken and good looking chicken on the last page. Rip dexters secret something i like to make sometimes for parties that's really simple and everyone enjoys: - get a baguette or a bag of bite sized bread crisps. If the former, cut it into narrow bite sized pieces - put blue cheese crumbles on the bread - drizzle honey over them tada instant yummy snack that is both crunchy and sweet with a bit of a surprise from the cheese. It's even better if you bake the bread a bit first to warm it up.

bbg how do u normally prepare your steak? also if anyone gets a chance to buy black pepper from Cambodia, do it asap. my brother lives in pnomh penh so i get it on the cheap vs normal prices in the US but it tastes really loving good and is worth a splurge imo

tonight we're doing tortilini with some motherfuckin prego heart-smart sauce last night was fancy though. went to a steak/italian place. he got some amazing beef-ribs with pasta as a sort of "window dressing", while i got hanger steak resting on a bed of... lentils or something? they tasted awesome. included mushrooms and beans too. antipasti was blue crab spread on a crepe-type thing. of course, it was all topped off with gelato at the end.
