http://www.livescience.com/27145-are-pit-bulls-dangerous.htmlthat article posted:A five-year review of dog-bite injuries from the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, published in 2009 in the journal Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, found that almost 51 percent of the attacks were from pit bulls, almost 9 percent were from Rottweilers and 6 percent were from mixes of those two breeds. In other words, a whopping two-thirds of the hospital's dog-attack injuries involved just two breeds, pit bulls and Rottweilers. that article again posted:A 15-year study published in 2009 in the American Journal of Forensic Medicine and Pathology revealed that pit bulls, Rottweilers and German shepherds were responsible for the majority of fatal dog attacks in the state of Kentucky. that article one last time posted:And a 2011 study from the Annals of Surgery revealed that "attacks by pit bulls are associated with higher morbidity rates, higher hospital charges and a higher risk of death than are attacks by other breeds of dogs."

It's a dog bred for fighting, is really good at fighting at fighting, is statistically proven to cause more deaths and injuries than other breeds combined, and can only possibly live in society without doing all of that only with exacting training and constant attention by a skilled owner. Well speaking as a proud North American I am sure that the average pit bull owner is more than ready to take on that responsibility.

FRINGE posted:Are we banning german shepherds, rottweilers, and dobermans too? Did you see the stats? Like German Shepherds are totally falling down on the job here. They are going to need some kind of mechanistics... I don't know CAMPS of some kind, maybe involving a gas or some other industrial killing method, to catch up to the kill rate pit bulls have.

We've kind of lost focus here. Now that we've established that pitbulls are just harmless and misunderstood we need to identify the real enemy : The dreaded Tosa Inu Bred in Japan for fighting starting in the 1800s this Asian menace has a bite force of over 550lbs, nearly double that of the average Pit Bull (who are actually pretty weak sauce on the bite force spectrum), and it does all of this while lookin like some kind old hounddog: Ownership or importation is banned in these locales: United Kingdom Australia Cyprus Denmark Hong Kong Iceland Israel Malaysia Malta New Zealand Norway Singapore Turkey And ironically, certain districts of Japan where the breed was created. Lock your doors. Hide your pets. Don't leave raw fish or whatever the Japanese eat laying around! THE TOSA INU MIGHT BE BEHIND YOU RIGHT NOW
