Some pit pulls are hosed up. Some golden retrievers are hosed up. Some dachsunds are hosed up. Turns out when you don't socialize a dog, it gets hosed up. Also turns out that when you marginalize a particular breed, thus making the only owners of said breed the type who don't properly socialize/train their dogs, or use them for bad purposes, you actively make the breed worse.

The fact is no trained, well-socialized dog has ever just gone completely loving berserk out of the blue (barring some kind of rare mental disorder in that particular dog, or perhaps a prolonged sad and violent history) so people getting all butt hurt that someone would dare let their child spend time with a bunch of well-trained dogs is sad.

Public's reaction when a German shepard kills a kid: that dog was clearly mistreated its entire life...so sad...
