takahashi's role in 5ds was extremely minimal, he basically just did character designs. and luna is one of the signers. youre probably thinking of leo, who originally wasn't one and that was his whole arc, but he was eventually made into one. you can tell how bizarre 5ds's writing was because lifestream dragon shows up in an opening *seventy episodes* before its actually played.
