you just gotta be honest when you list your bands. people will judge you for listening to popular or common or whatever music. gently caress them. each to their own. music serves a different purpose to individuals. I used to work with a girl who basically liked top 40 stuff. she was honest about it. it made me realise that despite thinking her taste is bad, if she likes it then well... there is a tendency to think you're better than someone else because you listen to more obscure or different or newer bands but you're not. you just have different priorities
