don't just post a link to a youtube video of one of their songs because no one is gonna listen to your lovely music

lets hear some artists who have made the move to games in the past successfully (aerosmith, nin, etc) and other artists you feel should / could make the move and if you want to discuss or tell us why please do

If you just listen to Sisqo's thong song in midi, it's some pretty good old school RPG overworld music.

Most metal bands could do fine in games, and they did in the case of Doom where a lot of songs were straight up ripoffs of metal.

Reverend Horton Heat, The Beat Farmers and Mojo Nixon along with a few other acts came together to make the soundtrack to Redneck Rampage, and it was real good.

I can't so I do that mashing trick where you vibrate your hand really fast

it doesn't work well esp with songs in guitar hero that require long periods of up and down movement but it works on a lot of rock band songs

when dragonforce was new i recognized that they were bad but still used their music for ragnarok online grinding

Not much else in games, his group is called Dreams Come True, the music style isn't quite the same though.

It has Master Exploder and The Metal by Tenacious D, but that's it. The original music is by Peter McConnell who also did Grim Fandango and Psychonauts. There are many good things about the game.
