I haven't watched them in forever but I distinctly remember really liking the two TV shows he did that nobody ever remembers: American Chronicles and On the Air.

David Lynch is to film as Michael Stipe is to lyrics. You don't know what the gently caress he's saying, but you know it makes you feel a certain way. I also tend to think Lynch falls more on the side of Dada than anything else.
