If we were talking about Ross Taylor, who seems to either get single figures or a century, then I would understand. But Guptil just looks really sketchy opening; He usually takes a dozen balls to get off the mark, and then another dozen before he's got his eye in. Which is a lot of balls when you have a tendancy to just hang your bat out like that.

I quite like the pace of the world cup so far. Really liking there being a game each day, which gives me the opportunity to catch pretty much every match. If the tournament was more condensed, then what, we'd have more time in the schedule for IPL, an extra Ashes series each year, and maybe even a nine test match series between Australia and India?
