I'm still figuring everything out, but my #1 problem seems to be keeping my economy up. Losing all your items after a quest (failed or not) is rough. I get that it makes you careful about loadouts, but I think it devalues a well executed run. I run out of gold pretty fast between de-stressing a couple characters and stocking up for the next run (even with upgraded buildings). I should probably max out the carriage for rookie count and then dismiss my super-stressed low-level fodder periodically. Loving the game though.
