Have you considered Unshoes? You would get the minimal footwear experience because they are sandals with paper thin soles but your feet won't be subjected to dirt and debris.

Put on clean socks, changing them mid-day if necessary, and wear shoes that fit correctly and provide proper arch support. Your feet will be a bazillion times healthier than if you go swanning about barefoot through parking lots.
