Did you try Magical Diary? It is really good once you get past the deviantart graphics. For Otome games, try The Royal Trap (female protag who kicks rear end) or Cinders (a different take on the Cinderella story). It doesn't really fit your criteria, but try Dysfunctional Systems. It costs five bucks. You can beat it in one sitting but it's a hell of a ride. No further episodes are coming out though so prepare to get a blueball cliffhanger.
