A working class man, white, Christian and straight struggles with money, almost facing eviction. Driving his old car his dangerous, so one day he almost has an accident and falls into an ice lake and almost dies but instead, is frozen. Fifty years later he is discovered and reanimated, but wakes up in a much changed America, where the son of his millionaire boss, a Gender Studies PhD candidate tells him to check his cis, race, religious privilege.
