rear end-penny posted:there is a lot to do in that game but they aren't great at making sure you know what to be doing lol. in my first game I had beaten 2 of the 3 bosses, never made it up that tower in the city of tears. I feel like even that third boss wasn't going to be the end either tho Hollow Knight rips. I remember it being pretty manageable if you get all the relevant items for mapping and use the markers. The boss-rush challenge pantheons were ridiculous though. I think I did everything but them.

Delores Dei help me I just started a new run with the psyche preset and I'm going to take the whackier dialog options and try to do most of the side stuff I missed maybe go ancap? first run was intellect sorry cop art cop communist but I accidentally rushed into the endgame a bit early bc a lot of my side goals were locked behind failed checks it seemed out of character to force if harry couldn't do them, at least I found the phasmid

I actually used the sensitive (psyche) preset but I'm making a superstar fascist cop. mostly because the first time I played the fash spirit quest I happened to talk to the correct fascist first and I kind of want to see what Gary and Rene have to say about turning back time. I have played through like 6 times already, I have seen a lot of this game but there's still some things I have yet to see.|

remembered that alien hominid invasion came out and picked it up for couch co-op the other night it's alright from the little we played but the screen is way too busy and there's no readability to what's going on keeping track of your character is confusing, nevermind everything else, and there's so much purple did a little singleplayer after and it's more manageable, but would surely be more fun with people online co-op might work since I'd imagine the camera can stay focused on your character instead of everyone at once, but I don't think anyone's even aware the game exists or that they finally ported the original to pc

played a good amount of devil daggers since it came out and never came near the only achievement, which is to last ~8 minutes had been putting off touching the sequel, Hyper Demon, bc I didn't even come near "finishing" the first, but I finally caved and it's got so much cool poo poo from the changed up scoring, to enemies, to the mother fuckin V I S U A L S uh it's prob not for most people but check out 30 seconds of gameplay or a trailer or something and see what's up
